I've had some terrible experiences in NYC and they're 100% the opposite. Yes, the pricing is a bit higher, but the reliability and professionalism outweigh the price. I had a personal rep for my move who was extremely helpful while my move-in date was changing up until the last minute. The movers called to confirm in the AM and actually showed up a bit early! They were extremely efficient and helpful. We encountered an issue with my couch fitting down the hallway and they tried for over an hour to get it out. I was so satisfied with their determination and positive attitude during the entire process. My move-in was flawless. Shleppers called me a few hours after I had moved in and the movers had left. This was a great touch in case anything had been forgotten or damaged and you didn't notice while the movers were around. I HIGHLY recommend Shleppers to everyone I know. A+!

• I had a wonderful experience, start to finish. Fran, my Relocation Consultant, was patient and clear. I sent her a number of updates to my packing list and she quickly made updates and resent the quote. The team of movers was trustworthy, efficient, friendly and careful with all of my belongings. They had a lot of stairs to deal with, but not a single scratch on either my things or the building walls. A great experience.
