Shleppers’ Simple Four Step Business Relocation Process

1. Survey

One of our professional commercial relocation specialists will meet with you individually to conduct a detailed walk-through. During your survey, we will create a complete inventory of the items we will be moving. We will evaluate both your current and future location to understand the logistics pertaining to your move, including truck parking, loading docks, stairwells, and other load in-and-out conditions. We pay special attention to these conditions to ensure the entire process is streamlined and hassle-free.

We will also identify potential problems and issues so that we can resolve them ahead of time. Our commercial specialist will use all the knowledge gained from your survey to devise a plan to avoid, reduce or eliminate these concerns, allowing you to focus on your business needs and not the details of the move.

2. Plan

In the next phase of the process, we will create a detailed plan that includes mapping, tagging, trucking, labor and packing, and provide you with a firm cost estimate – in writing. Our team of licensed, professional, background-checked and drug-tested movers will then use all input from involved parties to develop a thorough checklist for all relocation concerns and issues, and develop a schedule to match your desired timeline.

3. Implement

Now it’s time to get to work. Our team of commercial movers who are expertly trained will arrive on time with all the necessary trucks and equipment. Before we begin the moving process, we will first ensure the protection of all floors, walls and items being transported. Once everything is secured we will then begin to pack and load priority items.
