Tips for Packing Christmas Trees, Ornaments, & More

Wrapping supplies storage: It’s wasteful to throw away the half rolls of wrapping paper you have left, we know you kept the tissue paper to use in gifts throughout the year, so what do you do with it? And what about all the bows? There are great ways to store all of it so you can be prepared come time for the next birthday party or holiday season. Since you only need to access gift supplies a few times a year, an under-bed storage system works to keep the wrapping paper near but out of sight. If you don’t have any room under your bed for a thin container, try a hanging door organizer on the back of a closet door. No matter where you have room in your house, it’s best to keep the supplies together and accessible. Christmas tree storage: If you celebrate Christmas and have an artificial Christmas tree or two around the house, you know that they can last for years with the proper care. Rolling tree cases are a great option for easy moving, and some even allow you to keep the tree assembled to save time next year. If your case includes a heavy-duty hook, hang the bag in your garage or attic to keep it safe and out of the way.

Hooks, hangers, and more: The unspoken heroes of the holidays are the small hooks and hangers that allow us to hang up the beautiful lights, stockings, ornaments, and other family decorations. Unfortunately, after the season is over, these tiny helpers can become choking hazards in the hands (or paws) of children and pets.
