The Bottomless Closet Partnership

Shleppers Moving & Storage has partnered up with The Kanbar Kopel Team to organize a clothing drive to benefit The Bottomless Closet. The Bottomless Closet is all about empowering women and preparing them for job interviews by providing resume help, workshops, and the appropriate attire. This organization has been running for over 20 years and continues to help enable New York City women in need to enter the workforce and become successful. Even though this global pandemic continues to evolve and impact many of our lives in many ways, the Bottomless Closet keeps providing crucial services to the women in need.

Upcoming Women’s Clothing Drive in NYC

For The Bottomless Closet to continue to deliver their services to these NYC women in need, we need your help. We will be running a women’s clothing drive between May 4^th through May 18^th that will benefit The Bottomless Closet. Our employees will make pickups on May 19^th, 20^th and 21^st throughout Manhattan. Following the pickups, we will make the delivery directly to The Bottomless Closet.  We want to do our part in the community during this time of uncertainty and help those in need.

Donate During COVID-19

Throughout the pandemic, you have probably done a lot of cleaning in the house and have cleaned out all your closets. If you have been holding onto these clothes for a while, now you can donate them to a charitable organization in need. In the case that you cannot make it during these times, you can still help out The Bottomless Closet by making a gift online here. We want to do everything in our power so that The Bottomless Closet can continue to empower and prepare women in need. People are in lockdown and some of our lives have changed drastically, but The Bottomless Closet is still serving these women, which is why we need to keep donations coming in.
