TriBeCa: What’s in a Name?

The creativity of the area manifests itself further with the “Tribeca Film Festival.” Showcasing an assorted variety of independent films, the iconic festival was first held in 2002 in an attempt to reinvigorate Lower Manhattan after the September 11 attacks.
